This workshop is for home educated children aged 5+ and their families.
What was life like for women who married England’s kings in the past? Did they influence the way their husbands ruled?
What was life like for those few women who inherited the title of ‘queen’? What power and responsibility went with it?
In this workshop,we will:
explore the role of queens in medieval and Tudor times
learn about queens from the past whose stories are linked with the history of Pontefract Castle
Please note: This workshop is scheduled for a Monday rather than the usual Tuesday delivery due to the availability of the learning space at Pontefract Castle.
