Workshop times:

This workshop is for home educated children aged 7+ and their families. 

What was the Industrial Revolution? What powered it? What impact did it have on people’s lives? And what was being made in Wakefield’s factories?

In thisworkshop, we will:

  • explore the impact of the Industrial Revolution in Wakefield

  • use amazing old photos, real historic objects and written records to investigate the past

  • reveal fascinating stories about industrial Wakefield

This session is delivered in partnership with the Community and Family Learning Team at Wakefield Council’s Adult Education Service.
