Workshop times:

  • Tuesday 10 February, 10:30am to 12pm

  • Tuesday 10 February, 1:30pm to 3pm

This workshop is for home educated children aged 7+ and their families.

Castleford has a rich Roman history. Discover how we can explore it using both new and old methods!

In this interactive workshop we will:

  • meet a real-life archaeologist

  • handle artefacts from Ancient Roman times

  • discover how modern technologies can be used to teach people about the past in fun and exciting ways

  • uncover Roman Castleford's past through a digital dig
