Home Education: What is on the inside? Paintings by Cynthia Kenny (5+)

Fri 24 October 2025, 10:30am - 12pm

Wakefield Museum

This fun workshop is for home educated children aged 5+ and their families. Let your creativity run wild as you explore our art exhibition Cynthia Kenny: a city framed! We'll focus on Cynthia's cityscapes, filled with characterful buildings.

As we examine Cynthia's paintings, we will:

  • share our thoughts about we see, think and wonder when we look at the scenes

  • take an imaginary peek behind the walls of the buildings

  • draw pictures of what we think the interiors of the buildings might look like

  • create make-believe characters to live in each dwelling
