Travel back in time: VE Day

This very special resource was created to mark the 75th anniversary of VE Day. Using photos taken by a local man, Jack Hulme, travel back in time to May 1945. See with your own eyes how the people of the small mining community of Fryston celebrated VE Day.

The resource is suitable for ages 8 and up. It can be used in school or at home under the guidance of a teacher, parent or other supervising adult.

These resources are for KS2 upwards.
