Wakefield Museums and Castles

Castleford Museum, Pontefract CastlePontefract Museum and Wakefield Museum look after extraordinary collections. They tell the stories of people from the Wakefield district.

We are always looking for ways to improve, develop and share the collection.

This may be:

  • by purchasing items of cultural value to the area;

  • conserving objects for future generations;

  • creating new exhibitions display and interpretation.

Your generous donations support this work. Every donation makes a difference - no matter its size.
