A handmade blue rosette with white ribbon, the words 'Wembley - Featherstone R Rugby Cup Final, 1974' on and a silver trophy in the centre

Rugby League would be nothing without the supporters.

A Featherstone Rovers fan wore this homemade rosette on a trip to Wembley in 1974.

Featherstone had made the final of the Challenge Cup. They missed out to Warrington that year but have lifted the famous trophy three times in 1967, 1973 and 1983. They first made the final in 1952.

The Challenge Cup is Rugby League's flagship knockout competition. It has been played each year since 1896. It's the world's oldest cup competition in either code of rugby.

The final is usually played at Wembley Stadium in London. A Wembley final is a huge occasion for clubs and fans.
